Spring Bulbs for Your Flower Garden

I thought it would be nice to start showcasing some flowers and other items for the flower garden. I will probably continue this off and on throughout the growing season.

Our first offer is the Barbarossa Dahlia, a lovely red flower. It is spring-planted from a tuberous root rather than an actual bulb. It is good in flower beds and containers or planted in mass. Dahlias make good cut flowers.

Its mature height is 36 - 60 inches so don't plant it in front of anything you want to be able to see. The dahlia blooms from July to frost and grows in zones 4 - 10.
